DoTE Announces Re-Admission for Diploma Students in Tamil Nadu – Deadline December 31
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), under the Higher Education Department, has announced re-admission opportunities for diploma students who discontinued their studies in the previous academic year.
Key Details of Diploma Re-Admission
According to sources from DoTE, re-admission will be permitted only for even semesters. Students who discontinued their diploma courses last year due to shortage of attendance are eligible to apply for re-admission, subject to specific conditions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Re-admission is applicable only to even semesters
- Students must have discontinued their studies in the previous year
- The total duration since admission to the diploma course must not exceed six years
- Applicable to students of polytechnic colleges across Tamil Nadu
Important Deadline
Principals of all government and private polytechnic colleges in Tamil Nadu have been instructed that the last date for re-admission is on or before December 31.
DoTE has clearly stated that this deadline will not be extended under any circumstances.
Document Submission
Students are informed that hard copies of documents need not be sent to DoTE, as all required academic details are already available with the directorate.
