Weekend and festival holidays: 600 special buses to be operated!

The Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation has announced the operation of 600 special buses on weekends and festival holidays. In a notification released on Thursday, October 5th, the following information was provided:
"Special buses will be in service every weekend on Saturdays and Sundays. For the upcoming weekend of Saturday, October 7th, and Sunday, October 8th, additional special buses will be operated on Friday, October 5th, from all major locations in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Consequently, 300 special buses will depart from Chennai Metro City to various important destinations across Tamil Nadu. Another 300 buses will depart from the cities of Coimbatore, Madurai, Thirunelveli, Trichy, Salem, and Bangalore to other major cities.
Furthermore, to assist passengers returning to their residential locations after weekend travel, additional special buses will be operated from other major cities, including Chennai and other locations.
We urge citizens who are planning to travel to take advantage of this service and make advance reservations."
