The commotion and chaos at Saidapet are making many residents unhappy now?

Opposite to the Saidapet court is Venkatapuram and a road passing through Venkatapuram is highly traffic congested. The two wheelers and four wheelers jostle for space here and this is creating issues for many now. It must be taken into note that the commotion and chaos here make the lives of around 250 families here very tough.
For a person to walk across the road, it would take half an hour. Point to be noted is that the residents here have placed garbage bins and barricades to stop vehicles from entering from Anna Salai but the two heelers move the barricade and drive in.
The area is being used by many who travel from Saidapet to places like Guindy, Velachery etc. It was brought to light by a frequent user of this route to Velachery that long lines of vehicles make it difficult for him sometimes to reach office on time.
Many residents here are unhappy about the surge in traffic now. As per another frequent user it was mentioned that a traffic signal would be effective here. When the stretch of Anna Salai at the spot was made one-way the traffic congestion issue started here. This was as per a resident here.
