Toll collection to be stopped at the toll plazas in OMR in Chennai

Motorists who have been paying toll amounts at the toll plazas in Old Mahabalipuram Road or OMR or Rajiv Gandhi Road in Chennai would be surprised by this news now!!
It must be noted that from 30th August toll collection would be stopped at various toll plazas in the OMR like Perungudi, Thoraipakkam, Kalaignar Road and Medavakkam Road etc. The reason for this is due to the beginning of the metro train related activities. It is known that Rajiv Gandhi Salai or Rajiv Gandhi IT Expressway is an important road that connects Chennai and Mahabalipuram. This OMR has got many IT companies and BPOs etc.
