THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT HAS NOW ANNOUNCED THERE IS NO NEED TO REGISTER IN THE CONCERNED ROAD TRANSPORT OFFICE (RTO) While undertaking travel to more than 1 state in India in a vehicle,
Presently, the central government has initiated the activities for the National Vehicle Registration.
With this, the vehicle owners can fix the ‘BH-Series’ numbers on their vehicles.
While registering the vehicle in this series, THERE IS NO NEED FOR REGISTERING THE VEHICLE IN THE REGIONAL TRANSPORT OFFICES OF OTHER STATES WHILE VISING THERE!
This latest announcement from the Central Government will provide for certain great benefits especially for commercial vehicles!
Indeed, this would be a ‘super’ facility for the commercial vehicle owners/drivers who do business in several states!
BH-series of registration numbers will give the vehicle owners/drivers ‘country-wide approval! This would be of great benefit for the private vehicle drivers! Presently, they need to register their vehicles in different states – this cumbersome procedure is over henceforth!
What is ‘BH-Series?
This is the selection made by the vehicle owners. Under this new series, IT IS LEFT TO THE VEHICLE OWNER TO DECIDE WHETHER TO REGISTER UNDER THIS NEW SERIES! The central government has categorically clarified that IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO REGISTER UNDER these BH-SERIES!
‘Bharat Series Registration Mark’ IS THE FORM OF REGISTRATION!
The new registration will be in the format: ‘YY BH #### XX”.
- ‘YY’ denotes the year of registration.
- ‘BH’ indicates Bharath Series.
- ‘####” indicates the numbers from 0000 to 9999.
- ‘xxx’ is the alphabetical form of letters from AA to ZZ!
As per the Central Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, in case a vehicle owner takes his/her vehicle from 1 state to another, it has to be registered within 1 year.
A large number of travels are undertaken in vehicles by the citizens for commercial purposes from one state to other states!
In this regard, a huge number of citizens in Metro Cities and Large Cities keep changing their residences! In these circumstances, until now, the vehicle owners had to encounter a lot of hardships due to the stringent Rules & Regulations of the local Road Transport Office!
Given the situation explained above, the new format of the ‘BH-Series’ would certainly be helpful to the citizens!
