Survey reports Chennai and other cities need additional airports

In the recent times, there are lots of rise in number of passengers opting for domestic flights and according to the recent survey research conducted by Vistra, it has been cited that the cities might desperately need an additional airport to manage the growing crowd of flight passengers that includes Chennai and other cities.
As per report, the number of passengers flying through domestic flights have been the same in the past 50 years, but to a surprise has incredulously touched a figure of 7-Crore this year and by the next new year it would peaking to a monstrous number of 22-Crore approximately. On the pars, the international passenger figure has been 5Crore 20 lakhs and by New Year, it would stretch up to 12Crore approximately.
In accordance to this, the number of airports is likely to be increased from the existing number of 394 to 1084 airports in near future. The situation will be commendable only if such number of airports is built to manage the overgrowth of flight passengers.
