A package of 11 vegetables is sold at Rs. 105/- in Chennai Metro City!
With 100% lockdown under imposition including the groceries/vegetable shops remaining closed for 7 days in Tamil Nadu commencing today (Monday, 24th May) until 31st May, the public was in a frenzy crowding and thronging the groceries and vegetable stores procuring items required for a week!
As such, vegetables are being sold in mobile shops organised by the State Government of Tamil Nadu throughout Chennai Metro City in various zones!
On behalf of the Cooperatives Department of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, a package of 11 vegetables is being sold at a reasonably lower price of Rs. 105/-! This has alleviated the public apprehension regarding the shortage of vegetables required for a week to a considerable extent!
