Senior Citizens Day Medical Camp - August 21, 2025 | Organized by Rotary Club of Chennai Port City
The Rotary Club of Chennai Port City will be organizing a Senior Citizens Day Medical Camp on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 9:30 AM onwards at Little Drops Home, Baraniputhur, Iyyappanthangal, a shelter home for over 330 senior inmates.
The camp will feature general health check-ups, blood pressure and sugar tests, doctor counselling, and distribution of free medicines, conducted by a dedicated medical team from the Public Health Centre, Kundrathur, led by Dr. Abdul Jalil (Block Medical Officer, Kundrathur), Dr. Diviya (Medical Officer, Mangadu), and Health Inspector R. Ramesh.
The program will be graced by Mrs. Jamila Pandurangan, President of Iyyappanthangal Panchayat, as Chief Guest, and Mr. C. Selvaraj Bovas, Managing Trustee of Little Drops, as Guest of Honour.
Following the health camp, a special lunch will be served to all senior inmates.
The event is being coordinated by Rtn. C. Muthusamy (Chartered President), Rtn. IMM. Yusuf (President), and Rtn. PHF. Dr. K.P. Vijayakumar (Secretary) of the Rotary Club of Chennai Port City.
