Moderate Rain Likely in Western Ghats Districts for the Next Four Days, Says Weather Department

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has forecast moderate rainfall in the Western Ghats districts of Tamil Nadu over the next four days. According to the latest weather bulletin, moderate rain is likely from today until July 29 in several parts of the state.

The weather department has also predicted moderate rainfall in the districts of Cuddalore, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, and Tiruvannamalai on Friday and Saturday.

In Chennai, moderate evening showers are expected today and tomorrow, which may provide some relief from the prevailing warm and humid weather.

Residents in the affected districts are advised to stay updated with official weather advisories and exercise caution while travelling during periods of rainfall.
