CM Vijay Distributes Appointment Orders to 2,144 Healthcare Personnel, Inaugurates ₹139.47 Crore Medical Infrastructure in Chennai

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay distributed appointment orders to 2,144 healthcare personnel at a government function held at Presidency College, Chennai, strengthening the State`s public healthcare workforce.

The newly appointed personnel include 751 Assistant Medical Officers and 1,393 Health Inspectors, who will be deployed across government hospitals and public health institutions in Tamil Nadu to improve the delivery of healthcare services.

During the event, the Chief Minister also inaugurated medical infrastructure projects worth ₹139.47 crore, developed by the Health Department. The newly constructed facilities are expected to enhance healthcare services, expand medical infrastructure, and improve access to quality treatment for people across the State.

The recruitment drive and inauguration of new healthcare facilities reflect the Tamil Nadu government`s continued focus on strengthening the public health system, improving healthcare accessibility, and enhancing medical infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the population.
