Aavins superb plans for this Deepavali festival season in TN!!
The deepavali festival is fast approaching!!
In this scenario, Aavin administrative officials have mentioned that an additional 180 tonnes of sweets are being made for this upcoming deepavali and it would increase the sales by 30 percent.
It was later explained by a higher officer from Aavin that work has been going on in places like Ambattur, Madhavaram and Sholinganallur etc plus in other dairy farms to sell sweets and savoury items for the deepavali festival. Truth is that the target has been set to increase the sales by 30percent when compared to last year. As a result, an additional 180 tonnes of sweets are being produced now.
Information gathered is that mysore pak 250 gms is being sold for Rs 140, 500 gms for Rs 270. Likewise palkova 250 gms is being sold for Rs 130 and 500 gms for Rs 250. Ghee 100 ml is being sold for Rs 80 and 500ml for Rs 345 and one liter at Rs 660. Truth is that due to reduction in the GST tax, the price of ghee has been reduced by Rs 40 per litre.
Apart from these other sweets such as goa sweet, mysore paku, milk cake, milk peda, rasgulla, gulab jamun etc are being sold for Rs 450 and Rs 500 per kg.
