TASMAC Launches Online Liquor Booking Portal in Tamil Nadu from Today

Customers Can Book Online, Pay Digitally, and Collect from Nearby TASMAC Shops

In a major digital initiative, the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) has launched its new online liquor booking portal, Tasmac2e.in, allowing customers to reserve liquor online and collect it from their preferred TASMAC outlet.

The new portal enables customers to:

- Browse the live inventory of more than 4,000 TASMAC outlets across Tamil Nadu.
- Search stores by district, shop number, or location within a 5 km to 25 km radius.
- Complete online payment securely.
- Collect the booked liquor from the selected outlet.

Aim of the New Portal

According to TASMAC officials, the online booking system has been introduced primarily to:

- Reduce long queues at TASMAC outlets.
- Improve transparency in liquor sales.
- Help curb MRP violations and overcharging.
- Provide customers with a more convenient purchasing experience.
- Age Verification Mandatory

Customers must confirm they are 21 years or older before accessing the portal. Only verified users will be allowed to browse products and place orders.

Statewide Booking Facility

The portal also allows customers to book liquor from any participating TASMAC outlet across Tamil Nadu. For example, a customer in Chennai can place an order at a TASMAC shop in Tirunelveli and complete the payment online before collecting it from that outlet.

Important Note

The portal is designed for online reservation and payment only. Customers must still visit the selected TASMAC shop in person to collect their purchase. Home delivery is not part of this service.
