Pothanur - Chennai Central Special Train: Timings, Route and Operating Days

To meet the growing demand from passengers, the Pothanur - Chennai Central Special Train (Train No. 06028) will operate from September 4 to September 27 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The train will depart from Pothanur Junction at 7:40 am and reach Tiruppur at 8:28 am and Erode at 9:20 am. It will then continue via Salem, Morappur, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur, before arriving at Chennai Central at 4:45 pm.

Chennai Central - Pothanur Special Train

The Chennai Central–Pothanur Special Train (Train No. 06027) will also operate from September 4 to September 27 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The train will depart from Chennai Central at 5:45 pm and reach Salem at 11:07 pm and Erode at 12:05 am. It will then proceed via Tiruppur and reach Pothanur Junction at 3:00 am.

The extended Pothanur - Chennai Central special train services are expected to provide additional travel options for passengers travelling between Chennai and western Tamil Nadu.

Passengers travelling between Chennai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Pothanur can make use of these special train services during the specified period.
