Gold Extends Rally in Afternoon Trade
Today`s afternoon revision marks the second increase in gold prices on the same day. Gold had already gained ₹160 per gram during the morning session, and the latest ₹120 increase has pushed the total single-day rise to ₹280 per gram, making it one of the strongest daily gains in recent weeks.
Market experts attribute the continued rally to firm global gold prices, sustained investor demand for safe-haven assets, and domestic market sentiment, while silver remained steady after its morning advance.
