Merit List released for admission to graduate Arts & Science Courses in Government Colleges!

The Directorate of College Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released the merit list for admission to the government colleges` Arts and Science graduate courses.
There are 164 Arts and Science Colleges functioning under the Directorate of College Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu. Out of these, 107,299 seats are available to pursue graduate courses in Arts & Science. The procedure of online application to join these courses commenced on the 8th of May and concluded on the 22nd of May.
A total of 299,556 candidates had applied online for the above Arts & Science graduate courses throughout Tamil Nadu. Out of these, 244,104 candidates had provided the full particulars as requested and also paid the fees. Subsequently, the Directorate of College Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu released the merit list of the candidates on Thursday, 25th May.
The colleges need to download this merit list from the relevant official website. After that, the colleges have to verify the details of the candidates and upload the details faculty-wise on their respective official websites. Furthermore, this merit list will be conveyed to the candidates through SMS (Short Message Service) to the provided cell phone numbers or through email to the given email addresses.
The first phase of counseling is scheduled to be conducted on the 29th of May at the college level.
The Directorate of College Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has informed that if there are any doubts, the concerned students can contact the colleges to which they applied.
