Posted on: 10/Apr/2023 8:47:12 AM
The Arignar Anna Zoological Park, also known as the Vandalur Zoo, is set to launch a summer camp from April 12 to May 7 aimed at educating children about wildlife conservation and its characteristics. The program, open to children in Classes 5 and above, will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about big cats, herbivores, small carnivores, omnivores, as well as different species of birds and reptiles.

In addition, the zoo`s expert educators will teach attendees about butterflies and the interaction between flora and fauna. Children will also learn about the functions and activities of the zoo. The AAZP has opened a registration link to encourage participation in the summer camp and is urging children to become ambassadors for the zoo.

The summer camp will be held in four batches, with the first batch starting on April 12 and the last batch ending on May 7. The zoo`s officials hope the program will encourage children to appreciate wildlife and become more involved in its conservation.
