Amazing announcement!! 50% discount for the passengers in SETC buses in Tamil Nadu!!

If you are a regular SETC bus traveller, then this piece of news would make you very happy!!
The news that has come out is that the passengers who take 5 trips on the SETC or State Express Transport Corporation in TN would get a discount of 50% on their tickets for their next trip. This was announced by the transport minister Mr. SS. Sivashankar. He spoke about how a discount of 50% in ticket fares from the 6th trip would be applicable on all types of SETC buses across the state.
There would be 4 seats earmarked for women passengers who travel in the SETC buses. This was mentioned by the transport minister. He added that the woman passengers would be encouraged to travel alone or in a group. Woman passengers could book their seats online until the 24 hours of the commencement of the trip. The SHG of women would be given priority in running the canteens in the bus depots.
It is learnt that the MTC bus depots and terminuses in places like Avadi and Padiyanallur in chennai would be renovated with concrete flooring, mast lamps etc. Rs 1000 would be given to the good samaritans who help the accident victims.
