For the last mile connectivity between Alandur and DLF IT Park in Chennai, CMRL launches tempo feeder services!!

Chennai Metro Rail Limited or CMRL on Monday 6th February 2023 launched tempo feeder service to provide the last mile connectivity between Alandur based Arignar Anna metro station and DLF IT Park in Porur. This is making great news now.
There would be 4 air-conditioned tempos in the new feeder service and it could accommodate 12 passengers at a time. Rs 40 is the charge now and it would be collected by QR code( UPI) and mobile app. From Monday to Friday, the temp feeder service for the last mile connectivity would be available between 6am till 10pm.
Last mile connectivity is very important and it would make a lot of difference for the passengers to use the temp feeder service rather than using their own vehicles. This was according to the MD of CMRL Mr. MA. Siddique. He hinted that in the future both last mile connectivity and the first mile connectivity would be linked. The MD later urged transport systems like Ola, Fast Track etc to associate with CMRL to provide last mile connectivity to the passengers.
Mr. Siddique urged other companies (just like DLF IT Park) to join hands with CMRL for providing last mile connectivity for its employees.
