Central Government: 15-year-old government vehicles MUST NOT BE OPERATED ANYMORE!!

The Central Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced that all government vehicles – the central as well as state governments – more than 15 years old MUST NOT BE OPERATED ANY MORE!
In a notification released by the Central Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, it is mentioned:
Vehicles more than 15 years; old, used by the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Organizations, Metro City Corporations, City Corporations, self-governed organizations functioning under the Central/State Governments or Panchayats CANNOT BE OPERATED ANY MORE!!
The central Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has further informed that the vehicles more than 15 years old in the Departments mentioned above WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE AFTER 1ST APRIL 2023! The records concerned WILL NOT BE RENEWED ANY MORE!
This the central Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways has released the above announcement to facilitate the Amendment of the Motor Vehicles Act accordingly!
