Announcement from Southern Railways: Thiruvannamalai Special train extended for another 3 days!

On the special occasion of the Karthigai Deepam Festival at Thiruvannamalai, Southern Railways has announced that the special train to Thiruvannamalai is extended for another 3 days. It may be noted that the Chennai Beach-Vellore Cantonment has been extended up to Thiruvannamalai for the festive season. Chennai Beach – Tiruvannamalai special train will depart at 6pm on December 5, 6 and 7. Tiruvannamalai – Chennai Beach special train will depart at 3.45am on December 6, 7 and 8. Tambaram – Tiruvannamalai special train will depart at 8.40am on December 6 and 7. Tiruvannamalai-Tambaram special train will depart at 1.45pm on December 6 and 7.
