Important info about the sales of residential property in Chennai

When compared to the sale of residential properties in Q3 in year 2021, the sales of residential properties registered a marginal growth in Chennai in 2022. In terms of warehouse, office and data center space, Chennai city would see a superb growth and this was as per some experts. It is now believed that this would push up the demand for homes too.

Anarock Property Consultants conducted a study and it was found that 3500 residential units were sold in Q3 of 2022 as against the 2400 units that were sold in the Q3 in 2021. It was brought out by Mr.Sanjay Chugh,  city-head Chennai, Anarock Group that the main types of housing sales in the city are apartments, plotted development and villas etc. He hinted that of those sixty percent was apartments and 25percent was plotted developments.

Mr.V.S.  Sridhar, MD, Cushman and Wakefield, Chennai explained that the sentiment in the Chennai reality sector was positive and growth was witnessed in the commercial real estate also. In Manapakkam and in the 200 feet radial road, there has been an increase from 10 % to 12% in the companies setting up office space. The demand for industrial housing and warehouse space has increased.
