Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu: School headmasters MUST participate in Grama Sabha Meetings!

The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that the school headmasters MUST PARTICIPATE in the Grama Sabha Meetings (Village Group Meetings) scheduled on 2nd October!
The Commissioner of the Department of School Education has sent a circular to all the district collectors, all the Primary Education Officers, and the District Planning Coordinators in this regard!
In the Grama Sabha meeting scheduled on 2nd October, the Headmasters of schools must represent the school participating in this meeting along with the Head of the School Administration and members and discuss in the Grama Sabha meeting the various plans and decisions taken on the development of the schools and the issues regarding learning and teaching!
As such, the school headmaster, the head of the School Administration, and members ARE STRICTLY ADVISED TO KEEP READY COLLECTION OF INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPOSALS FOR THE SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT, LEARNING AND TEACHING READY!
They MUST participate in the Grama Sabha Meeting and share the above-collected details and after discussion, pass resolutions on these issues!
By sharing the school progress/development data in the Grama Sabha Meeting, the citizens of the concerned village will be aware of the various issues regarding the school and the requirements and contribute their part through suggestions and services. With this, the Grama Panchayats can constructively help the development of the schools!
The decisions taken regarding the development of the school in the Grama Sabha Meeting must be discussed at length in the School Administration Meeting conducted on the last Friday of the month!
As such, the school headmasters, TH Primary School Officers and the District Planning Coordinators are strongly advised to instruct all the Head of the School Administration, and members to STRICTLY FOLLOW THE ABOVE GUIDELINES
