Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is set to conduct a thorough review meeting today (Thursday, 27th January) regarding the scope for some relaxations in the prevailing corona restrictions!
With the third wave of coronavirus pandemic spreading fast and wide across the country along with its variant form Omicron, in Tamil Nadu, restrictions have been imposed to prevent this spread with night-time 100% curfew and 100% lockdown on Sundays.
In the prevailing scenario, more than 20000 citizens get infected every day. Still, despite being infected, the patients have not gone to get admitted to hospitals! Another point to note here is that there has been no major loss of lives as well!
Given the above situation, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has planned to conduct a thorough review meeting today (Thursday, 27th January) regarding the prevailing conditions and the issues of further relaxations in the prevailing restrictions and most importantly, the reopening of the schools and colleges with the Tamil Nadu State Government Chief Secretary, Health Secretary, and other senior officials
