University examinations postponed in Tamil Nadu!

Tamil Nadu Government State Minister for Higher Education, Ponmudi has informed today (Monday, 10th January) that all the university examinations are postponed indefinitely!
With the alarmingly increasing trend of the fast and wide-spreading third wave of coronavirus and its variant Omicron, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has imposed various restrictions as a measure to check and regent this spread!
In this scenario, while having a session with the press reporters today (Monday, 10th January), the State Minister for Higher Education, Ponmudi, shared:
“Earlier, acceding to the appeal from the students, the University examinations were postponed to 20th January! However, presently the third wave of coronavirus and its variant Omicron is rampant at present! As such, the university examinations stand postponed indefinitely!
Once the coronavirus spread is checked and prevented, the university examinations will be conducted. However, the practical examinations will be conducted as planned!”
