Important announcement!! Postponement of TNPSC exam in Tamil Nadu!!

It has been announced that the TNPSC that was scheduled to take place on Sunday 9th January 2022 has been postponed. Total lockdown on Sunday has been cited as the reason for the postponement.
It must be noted that a written examination was scheduled to be held on8TH January for the architectural and project assistant posts and on Sunday 9th January for integrated statistician posts.
Night curfew on all days and total lock down on Sundays has been imposed by the TN government now due to control the spread of Covid-19 infection. Total lockdown on Sundays would come into effect on 9th January 2022 and this has resulted in lots of confusion on those aspirants who would be writing TNPSC on that day. It was announced by the TN civil services selection board that the exams would be held as per the schedule.
The news that has come out is that the TNPSC exam that was supposed to take place on Sunday has been postponed. It has been confirmed by an official belonging to Tamil Nadu Civil services that the TNPSC exam for architectural and project assistant posts would be held as planned on 8th January 2022. Information collected is that the examination for the integrated statistical posts would take place on 11th January 2022.
