Heavy persistent downpour floods Marina Beach - Public banned from the visit!

Following the very heavy persistent rains in Chennai Metro City, the Marina Beach appears inundated! As such, to prevent any mishaps happening on the flooded beach, a ban has been imposed on the public from visiting Marina Beach.
It has been raining quite heavily and persistently in Chennai Metro City over the last few days. As such, water has stagnated in the entire sand area f Marina Beach!
Water has flooded the entire beach where sand could not be even seen!
The task of pumping out the inundated water with Pokhline Equipment is in progress!
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure, The squads of Chennai Metro City armed police, Coast Guard Police, Fire-fighting department, and fishermen, forming a group of 34 persons for each shift and are on the monitoring job!
As such, Chennai East Zone Joint Police Commissioner Rajendran and Thiruvallikkeni Deputy Commissioner Pallavan addressed the squads above giving suggestions and advice.
As a measure to prevent any untoward happenings, the public has been banned from visiting Marina Beach!
