In TN, veterinary courses have got lots of demand now!!

Earlier, it was just MBBS or BDS courses that would attract the students but things have changed these days!

According to the chairman of the admission committee UG, a total of 18758 aspirants have applied for the 4 bachelor’s courses offered by TN Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.

It is worth mentioning here that the university has a total of 580 seats and out of the total seats 480 seats are available for Bachelor of veterinary science and Animal Husbandry, BVSc and AH. There are also 100 seats allotted for B. Tech programmes in this university.

Approval from the TN government plus from the Veterinary Council of India would be necessary for seat allocation in 3 colleges namely Thalaivasal Koot Road Salem, Veerapandi, Theni and Pannaikinaru, Udumalpet. There would be 40 seats each available in these colleges in BVSc and AH programmes.

On 9th September, the university opened an online application process. It is now said that the interested candidates could download or submit filled in application forms till 6pm on 8th October 2021. Point is that till now as many as 15732 candidates have applied for BVSC and AH programmes. For the B. Tech programmes, as many as 3026 candidates have applied.
