Shocking!! In Chennai, COVID patients declared recovered and released from home quarantine in just 10 days!!

The news that in Chennai the zones having more than 100 active Coronavirus cases has gone up has been the subject of discussion for many now. It was brought to light by the data belonging to GCC that on Monday morning Chennai city had more than2087 active Coronavirus cases.
It is shocking to note that out of 15 GCC zones, as many as 11 zones have more than 100 Coronavirus cases now. With as many as239 active cases, Anna Nagar has topped the list. This is followed by Teynampet, Valasaravakkam and Adyar with 194, 198 and 192 active cases.
In the north Chennai region, places like Tiruvottriyur, Manali, Madhavaram etc have less than 100 active cases now and Manali has just 16 active cases. Information is that on 10th September there were just 7 zones that had more than 100 active cases and now 11 zones have more than 100 active cases.
It is learnt that the Covid-19 infected patients are being declared recovered and released from the home quarantine and various Covid care centres after just 10 days. In the past, even the asymptomatic patients were made to undergo compulsory home quarantine for 14 days at various Covid care centres is known to us. The source belonging to GCC mentioned that 10 home day quarantines have been followed for more than a month now. In Chennai, many got administered with second Covid vaccine dose when compared to those getting administered with first vaccine dose. The reason for this is due to the fact that people are afraid to get vaccinated.
