State Government Department of School Education: schools will function 6 days a week!

Over a period of more than one-and-a-half tears, the schools and other academic institutions have remained closed due to the prevalent first and resurgent raging coronavirus pandemic waves!
Presently, the extent of impact/spread of the coronavirus has reduced considerably throughout the country. As such, new relaxations have been announced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu.
Accordingly, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered the schools to be reopened from 1st September for the students of the 9tg, 10th, 11th & 12th Standards to function on a rotational basis.
As such, activities related to the reopening of schools are in progress at full swing throughout the state.
In this scenario, the new guidelines to be strictly followed have been released!
- As per this, all teachers, students and the school staff MUST WEAR FACE MASKS.
- The schools will function 6 days a week.
- In case sufficient classrooms are not available, the schools must utilise the 7th day of the week to organise classes for the remaining students.
