SHOCKING!! Even after recovering from COVID 24% patients showing symptoms now in Chennai

If you had recovered from Covid-19 infection then, please dont be of the view that you would not get symptoms anymore!!
It is now learnt that 24percent of the Covid-19 recovered patients have been having symptoms even after getting recovered a long time before. The remaining 76percent have completely recovered from the rapidly spreading infection. Long haul is the term given to the patients having Covid-19 symptoms even after recovering fully.
Doctors have started to offer tele-counselling services to these patients with symptoms and this was mentioned by Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Chennai corporation commissioner. It was later pointed out by Mr. Rupesh Kumar, consultant, ICMR that-NIE that 48.2% of the respondents selected randomly for the rapid needed assessment for post-Covid symptoms were those who have recovered after getting admitted to the hospitals while rest were in home based isolation.
Issues like diabetes were in more than 23percent patients, BP in 19% patients, heart diseases in 3.2% patients, kidney issues in 0.8% patients and asthma in 1.1% patients. Various symptoms that were witnessed in the patients were breathlessness, coughing, tiredness, sleeplessness etc. Some commonly reported symptoms were weight loss in 9% patients, hair loss in 7% patients, fatigue in 7% patients and sleeplessness in 5% patients etc.
