Amazing!! In Chennai, new daily COVID cases has gone below 2000 now after 54 days

It has taken 54 days for the new or fresh daily Covid-19 cases in Chennai to come below 2000 on Friday 4th June 2021. This has grabbed many eyeballs now. In Chennai, as many as 1971 tested positive for the infection and in TN there were 22651 fresh cases.
On 11th April, Chennai’s daily Covid-19 count went above 2000 for the first time in the second wave. It is now revealed that till now as many as 513,229 persons have tested positive for the deadly infection in Chennai. There were 2810 fresh cases in Coimbatore district yesterday. Various other western districts had daily Covid-19 count above 1000. Now, the case tally stands at 2195402 in the state of TN. Truth is that the number of active cases was reduced to 268,968. On Friday, the total number of persons who got discharged in TN was 33646 with as many as 3364 discharges in Chennai and 4590 in Coimbatore.
