Shanthnu in a crime thriller

Shanthnu Bhagyaraj has a handful of projects going on and if sources are to be believed his next project could be a crime thriller which is a remake of a Kannada movie.
Last seen in Vijay’s Master, Shanthnu has been waiting for a good break. His new project is touted to be the remake of the Birbal Trilogy which created a sensation in Kannada. The complete cast and crew will be announced officially soon.
Meanwhile, Shanthnu is awaiting the release of Muungakkai Chips and is currently part of Director Chimbu Devan’s Kasada Thapara and another film with director Vikram Sukumaran titled Raavana Koottam.
Interestingly, the first part of the Birbal Trilogy was also remade in Telugu and is yet to be released. The Telugu version has Satyadev as the lead actor who also acted in the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Sathuranga Vettai. Due to the prolonging pandemic, a bunch of movies is yet to see the light either on the big screen or on OTT.
