E-REGISTRATION MANDATORY FOR VENTURING OUT AFTER 10.00 AM: CHENNAI METRO POLICE!

The Chennai Metro City Police Department has strictly announced that E-Registration is mandatory for the citizens venturing out after 10.00 AM!
The citizens who leave their residential area police circle and enter another circle under another Police Station MUST HAVE COMPLETED E-REGISTRATION AND HAVE THE NECESSARY PROOF!
It has further informed that citizens without E-registration WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE OTHER POLICE SECTOR!
Full lockdown restrictions have been imposed by the State Government of Tamil Nadu and now prevailing as a preventive measure against the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic which has been spreading fast and wide!
As per the Order by the Chennai Metro City Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal, arrangements have been made to intensify the regulations implementation more strictly!
Barriers are being put up in every area by the respective Police Stations to create sectors and arrangements have been made for the resident citizens of these sectors to procure essential vegetables, food items, and groceries!
As per the guidelines issued by the State Government of Tamil Nadu the public will be allowed to procure essential items as above ONLY FROM 6.00 AM TO 10.00 AM!
Linking all the Police Circles in the entire Chennai Metro City, 153 Checking Booths have been set up throughout the Chennai Metro City for stringent monitoring in the main junctions, and the police station borders!
Citizens coming out after the permitted hours MUST HAVE APPLIED FOR E-REGISTRATION AND GOT THE SAME! Immediate stringent police action will be taken on those who violate this WITH OUR E-REGISTRATION and their vehicles may be confiscated!
It is being informed that except for certain reasons such as emergency medical treatment and other inevitable reasons, the PUBLIC WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VENTURE OUT WITHOUT THE MANDATORY E-REGISTRATION!
