TOLL - FREE NEW HELPLINE NUMBER FOR SENIOR CITIZENS: 14567!

In the prevailing extremely trying circumstances under the impact of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic spreading fast and wide, in order to find quick solutions for the hardships encountered by the Senior Citizens, the Central Ministry of Social Welfare has set up helpline service centres for the senior citizens in important states under the ‘ELDER LINE’ SCHEME!
This new facility has been made available recently in the states of Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka. However, this has been functioning in the State of Telangana over the last 1 year!
The Central Ministry of Social Welfare has further informed that this facility will be extended to all the other states as well before the end of May!

The Central Ministry of Social Welfare has further appealed to the Senior Citizens to avail of this facility liberally! This facility, known as ‘Elder Line’, functions with the help of Tata Trust & NSE Endowment.
This facility was commenced in the State of Tamil Nadu on 28th April 2021!
