The newly built table tennis court in Mandaveli is making loud noises

Located in the southern part of Chennai, Mandaveli is an important residential locality.
Now, this place is grabbing the attention of many due to the table tennis court or TT court that has been constructed by the Greater Chennai Corporation or GCC. An amount of Rs 65 lakhs has been used to construct the table tennis court with 3 tables.
Alphonso playground is located on the South Canal Bank Road in Mandaveli and here this newly built TT court is present. At present, GCC is on the lookout for contractors for maintaining this TT court. So, the public would not be allowed to use this amazing facility as of now.
It was later brought out by Chennai Corporation commissioner Mr G. Prakash that Chennai Corporation would have its first professionally developed TT court. In the future, there would be many such projects. He made his presence felt at this table tennis court. Sponsors would be identified by the GCC for providing TT bats and balls for the users.
It is important to mention that currently GCC has got a football ground and basketball ground at the Chennai Corporation School in Saidapet. Not many would know that in the Perambur based Corporation School the civic body has got a volleyball court also.
