For Tami Nadu State Citizens: 11 Holidays in the year 2021 for the ration shops in TN!

Grocery and other household items at cheaper rates are being sold in the ration shops under the State Government Pubic Distribution System (PDS). For the public buying these items, different types of ration cards have been issued to them by the State |Government of Tamil Nadu. The families can select the type of ration card most suitable for them and obtain the same. Accordingly, priority is being given to the ration-card holders who have ration cards marked PHH. All items will be available for this PHH stamped ration-card
The priority card bearing the stamp PHH-AYY refers to – Priority |Ration Card Anthyodhaya Anna Bhojana. With this card, all items including 5 kg rice can be procured. The ration-cards stamped NPHH are non-priority Rice-Ration-cards. All items will be available for this card as well. Ration-cards marked NPHH-S denote non-priority Sugar-Ration-Cards. All items except rice will be available for this card.
The ration-cards stamped NPHH-NC denote cards without any items to be procured. This cardholder cannot buy any item.
2119374 ration-cards have been distributed to the families in the State of Tamil Nadu. 68212884 citizens benefit from this.
In this scenario, the Department of Food of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released the list of Holidays in the year 2021 for this Department: accordingly, the holidays are – 14th January, 26th January, 14th April, 1st May, 14th May, 15th August, 10th September, 2nd October, 15th October, 4th November, and 25th December making for a total of 11 holidays for the ration shops.
