No suburban trains on Wednesday, but metro trains to run in Chennai

In view of Cyclone Nivar, the SR or Southern Railway has cancelled the workmen special suburban trains in Chennai on Wednesday, 25th November 2020. The SR would be stopping the suburban special train services in Chennai from 10am onwards till further notice. This was stated in the release from the SR.
From 7am till 10pm, Chennai Metro train services would continue to function with a frequency of 10 minutes. This was as per the press release. It has been said that the services would be regulated based on the wind speed and the water level on the railway track. This was also mentioned in the release.
