An announcement has been released regarding 1355 vacant posts in the various departments of the central government.
Job openings are available for various academic qualifications right from 10th Standard to graduates!
The details:
SSC (Staff Selection Commission) undertakes the responsibility to recruit and fill up the vacancies arising in different central government departments.
Presently, there is an announcement to fill up Base-8 posts.
The posts to be filled up with this announcement:
Lab Assistant, Technical Operator, Storekeeper, Junior Engineer, Scientific Assistant, Field Assistant, Technical Officer, Dietician, Technical Superintendent, Technical Designer, Fumigation Assistant, Lab Attendant, Library Information Assistant, Library Clerk, Junior Technical Assistant, and senior technical Assistant
The details regarding vacancies in each category above and the department-wise requirement can be accessed in the full announcement. A total of 1355 candidates are to be recruited.

Age Limit
The age limit varies for different posts. Overall, there are most jobs available for candidates below 35 years of age. For many posts, candidates under the age of 25 years are recruited.
Academic Qualifications
Candidates with 10th Standard can apply for posts such as Technical operator and Library clerk.
Candidates with +2 can apply for posts such as a Lab Assistant, Fumigation Assistant, etc.
Lots of posts are available for graduates as well.
Fees
Applicants must pay a fee of Rs. 100. However, this application fee is exempted for all Women candidates, SC/ST categories, differently-abled persons, and ex-military personnel.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online.

Computer-based test
The computer-based test in this regard is scheduled to be conducted on 10th, 11th, and 12th June.
