FICCI visit to SL does not have TN representatives

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has organized a 6 member delegation of ministers to visit Sri Lanka from April 8th to April 12th. However, the delegation will not consist of any representative from Tamil Nadu.
The delegation consists of Prakash Javadekar of Bharatiya Janata Party, Madu Goud Yaskhi of Congress, Dhananjay Singh of Bahujan Samaj Party, Anurag Thakur of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sandeep Dikshit of Congress and Saugata Roy of Trinamool Congress.
An official from FICCI said, ‘We intend to pursue these political tracks within South Asia because we believe that talking to each other can be the only way forward out of any crisis, whether political or economic. We greatly look forward to our visit to Sri Lanka to take forward our very dynamic relationship.’
