Duration of public exam for 12th Standard reduced

The duration for the public examinations for the 12th Standard has been reduced by half-an-hour from 3 hours 15 minutes to 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Subsequent to the revision in the total marks for the public examination for the 12th Standard being reduced from 1200 to 600, now, the duration of the examinations is also being reduced.
Earlier, the public examination for the 12th Standard commenced at 10.00 AM and concluded at 1.15 PM. As per the State Examination Board, this has now been reduced – examination will start at 10.00 AM and conclude at 12.45 PM. Thus, the duration of the examination gets reduced by half-an-hour from 3 hours 15 minutes to 2 hours and 45 minutes.
