SBI ATM withdrawal limit and charges

The widest network of ATMs is with the State Bank of India. All SBI account holders can make free transactions in ATMs belonging to State Bank group and its subsidiaries such as SBI Commercial and International Bank Ltd with their SBI credit or debit cards. The daily withdrawal limit is Rs 2 lakh for both national and international customers, and for SBI ATM cards, the limit is Rs 5 lakh. Anyhow, the daily withdrawal limit is subject to change based on the card type.
 
Below are the details of daily withdrawal limit with different ATM debit cards
 
SBI Classic debit cum ATM card
This is the most popular kind of debit card where cash withdrawal of up to Rs 40,000 per day is allowed. In case of online transactions, the daily limit is Rs 50,000. A charge of Rs 300 with additional GST of 18 percent is applicable at the time of card issue, and towards annual maintenance charges, Rs 100 plus GST is applicable.
 
SBI Pride Master Debit cum ATM card
This card offers high cash withdrawal limit of Rs 1 lakh including both domestic as well as international withdrawals. For online transactions, the limit is double and is Rs 2 lakh. Similar to Classic Debit card, this Pride Master card also comes with Rs 200 plus tax as the issuance charge. The annual maintenance charge is Rs 250 plus GST of 18 percent.
 
SBI Platinum debit cum ATM card
The daily withdrawal limit with SBI Platinum cum ATM card is Rs 2 lakh. This includes both domestic and international withdrawal. The limit for online transaction is Rs 5 lakh. With higher withdrawal limit, the charges are higher too. The annual maintenance charge for this card is Rs 350 plus GST. And the issuance charge for the card is Rs 3000 plus tax.
 
Apart from cash withdrawal, customers can also avail other services like ATMs.
 
SBI ATM - banking option
With SBI ATM option, customers can withdraw cash, change their ATM PIN, get to know their account balance, produce mini statement and make card to card transfer of up to Rs 40,000 in a day. With this, they can also make credit card payment, and pay for their SBI life insurance, get mobile top up done, and request for cheque book as well.

According to RBI rules, 5 free ATM transactions are allowed for free during a calendar month.
