It has been announced that the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Sessions will start from 20th January.

As the sessions are going to be the first to be conducted in this new year, Tamil Nadu Governor will be addressing the inaugural session.
After the Governor address, The Legislative Assembly Review Team will meet under the speaker and decide the number of days the Legislative Assembly Sessions will be conducted.
It is expected that many issues related to the hardships encountered in many districts during the recent floods will be raised in the coming Legislative Assembly Sessions.
It may be noted that the opposition parties have been raising the blame on the government about the release of Chembarambakkam Lake water leading to the flooding of Chennai Metro City which may create a lot of hot debate in the coming Assembly Sessions.
