Apple to use new display technology in 2017

There has been much speculation about the screen technology that Apple will use in its new iPhone. At present, Apple uses LCD screens. However, sources say that the iPhone 7 phones that will come out in 2017 (the S versions) will have OLED displays.
Experts say that Apple has stayed with MCD screens due to production costs, yield and longevity. They say that, now, these issues have diminished and that Apple is ready to upgrade the technology. Reports say that the display panels will be supplied by LG and Samsung.
