Over 81% clear Class XII CBSE exams

The results were declared across the country today except Patna region, with the total pass percentage standing at 81.71 per cent, an increase of 1.84 per cent over last year, said a statement issued by the CBSE.
In all, 7,70,043 candidates registered for Class XII examination this year, which was also an increase of about 9.85 per cent over last year
Among the various regions, Chennai topped the country with a pass percentage of 91.32, followed by Ajmer with 85.5 per cent and Delhi with 85.45 per cent.
The release said the second phase of CBSE tele-counselling began from today and would go on upto June 6.
It also said that students could dial a toll-free number 1800 11 7002 from any part of the country to get centralised access to the helpline.
