VANDALUR ZOO AND MAMALLAPURAM SHORE TEMPLE DRAWS MOST CROWDS

People are becoming wiser, learning out of their experiences. This year Kanum Pongal, people preferred to avoid Marina beaches because of hellish crowd. People who wanted enjoy the Kanum Pongal peacefully with their families thronged Mamallapuram beaches, especially Shore Temple and next was Vandalur Zoo. The shore Temple had by afternoon estimated crowd of about a lakh and Vandalur Zoo had about 60000 people.
Some of the reasons beside the crowd itself are that there is nothing else but the sea to watch in Marina. The Zoo authorities have kept all the six white tigers in view for the public. The shore temple is becoming popular because of publicity campaign by the TTDC.
