Problems in North Chennai Thermal Power Station unit: Generation of 600 MW affected!

North Chennai Thermal Power Station authorities have informed that the power generation has been affected by some technical problems in one of the units.
North Chennai Thermal Power Station is located in Athipattu Pudhunagar in Thiruvallur District and has 2 units of 600 MW capacities each in Phase-2.
Some technical problems have been encountered in the 1st unit of 600 MW in Phase-2.
The concerned authorities reported that the repair work is now in full swing and being expedited to resume power generation as soon as possible.
