Surprisingly, Horrible Summer Declines to 35 Degree Celsius!

Since May 20, Chennai residents are facing horrible temperature owing to ‘Agni Natchathiram’. But for a sudden surprise on Tuesday, the maximum temperature descended to 35.2 degree celsius.
The city temperature stays constantly beyond 40 degree celsius amid May 22 and 25, owing to the sizzling interior winds. Recently four days ago, the highest temperature accounts for 42.8 degree celsius across the city.
Sudden drop in temperature is mainly due to the cloud coating above the city and efficacy of the sea wind. As southwest torrential rain bangs Kerala, temperatures are hop to stay minimal in the majority of the areas over TamilNadu.
In the upcoming days, there is no probability of temperature rise more than 40 degree celsius in the city. Also only a minor levitation during June 1 and 2, says Mahesh Palawat, chief meteorologist of Skymet, weather fore casting agency.
Moreover, the humidity across the city hanged high, floating nearly 80%, delivering discomfort to the city residents, he added.
During 2013, the maximum temperatures recorded after `Kathiri`, in the final week of May and initial week of June, compelled the schools to kick off later on than planned.
We can forecast that the highest temperature will dwell amid 35 and 37 degree celsius for the subsequent 48 hours, says S R Ramanan, the director of regional meteorological department.
