Special light-weight revolver ready for sale to women

Indian Ordinance Factory today launched a light-weight revolver "Nirbheek, designed especially for women to defend themselves from assault.
This 0.32 bore revolver, weighing 500gm, can be kept by women in purse or handbag. The name of the revolver is inspired by `Nirbhaya, a paramedical student who was brutally gangraped in a bus in Delhi on December 16, 2012.
Manager of the Field Gun Factory said the revolver is priced at Rs 1,22,360 and women will get the revolver on priority basis.
