Chennai sees high temperatures
The temperature in Chennai and its surrounding areas has hit new highs for the month of March on Friday and Saturday. Normally, high temperatures are recorded from the month of April onwards. But this year, the sun has been beating down hard from the second week of March.

Drug for stroke will now be free at GH
The Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital has announced that the injection to control a blood clot that could lead to a stroke will now be given out for free. The drug costs up to Rs. 45,000 normally.

April 1st Power Shutdown Schedule
Tamilnadu Electricity Board has changed the Power Cut schedule of Chennai City from April 1st (Monday),2013. The duration of power cut will remain the same 2 hours.
