Water train service from jolarpet to Chennai now wound up
Water train services have been stopped because Krishna water has arrived and it has resulted in slow filling up of the Poondi reservoir, Metro Water Department.

Training to set up terrace gardens on 11th October

Gold rate decreased to Rs.32 per Sovereign
The cost of gold has decreased to Rs. 32 per Sovereign on Tuesday Evening (October 8, 2019). A sovereign was worth Rs. 29,184.00 and a gram were Rs. 3,648.00.

Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu electric trains cancelled half-way!
As maintenance work has been undertaken in the Kattankulathur-Singaperumal Koil Railway Workshops, the trains in the section Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu are cancelled half-way on 10th October.
